On the eve of its 25th anniversary Asters allied with Tabletochki for arranging Ukraine’s most heartwarming charity race. Brussels office of Asters organised a group race in the park near the European Commission. Seventeen people attended the DobroRun in Brussels.
“The legal profession implies high social obligations. As for any successful business, it is natural for a leading law firm to necessitate contributions for the benefit of society”, – comments Asters Senior Partner Armen Khachaturyan.
DobroRun was attended by more than 1,260 philanthropists from 21 regions of Ukraine (from Transcarpathia to Luhansk region) and 16 countries: Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Great Britain, Georgia, Denmark, Estonia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, Latvia, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, USA and the Czech Republic. Along with individual participants, corporate teams joined DobroRun 2020, in particular, representatives of AB Softt, NGO Blood Agents, AgileEngine, Be — it Health & Social Impact, Bosch Ukraine, Dentsu Ukraine, Dobrobut Medical Network, Foodex24, INTEGRITES, McCann Kyiv, ANTOSHKA, REHAU Ukraine – window systems, Selih and partners (Slovenia). All these funds are transferred to the needs of the wards of the Tabletochka Foundation and will be used to purchase vital medicines for Ukrainian children struggling with cancer.
“The DobroRun donations will be used for purchasing vitally important medicines for Ukrainian children fighting cancer. Because of inefficient public procurement the much needed medications are in shortage in Ukraine”, – says Svitlana Pugach, Strategic Partnership Director at Tabletochki Charity Fund. “Asters has been providing pro bono legal advice to our fund since 2015. We are very grateful to the firm for its lasting support. In productive partnership with Asters we strive to achieve our dream goal – so that in the nearest future no Ukrainian child dies from cancer”.***
