Between 2018 and 2022, Marta represented the law firm Asters in Brussels and has been a lecturer at the Ukrainian Free University in Munich, specializing in sovereignty in international and European law. She is also the author of two monographs and ran as the top candidate for the Belgian political party Voor U in the European Parliament elections. Marta is a mother of two and, as of July 2024, has been appointed as the Representative of the Ukrainian Ombudsman in Belgium and for EU Affairs, where her extensive experience is expected to greatly benefit the protection of Ukrainian rights in Europe.
